Day 1

The Timeless Lifestyle & Hidden Gem

Todo Village – the Capital of Manggarai Kingdom

Wae Rebo – the Hidden Village Above the Clouds

Todo Village was once the capital of the Manggarai Kingdom. The village is known for its drum house (Mbaru Niang),
which played a key role in traditional ceremonies.
You’ll learn about the unique caste system that still influences Manggarai society today.

1.5-hour hike, we’ll reach Wae Rebo, UNESCO-awarded traditional village.
Here has only a few families who still follow the old ways and live in stunning mountain views.
Tonight, we stay in one of the traditional houses.
There is no phone signal, no shower, so be prepared for a simple but authentic experience.

Day 2

Have a Hidden Beach All to Yourself

Crystal-clear water in Nusa Mules Island

Boat ride to Nusa Mules Island, a small, untouched paradise. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and colorful coral reefs.
We may have the chance to encounter local fishermen and see them using traditional tools to fish.

Head to Repi Beach, Whether swim, take a walk, or simply enjoy the view, this stop allows us to soak in the island’s coastline.
If time allows, we’ll make to Cunca Wulang Waterfall before drop off at Labuan Bajo airport or hotel.

Day 3

Travel through Thousands Years in 1 Day

Visit Local School

Starts at Liang Bua Cave, home of the mysterious Homo floresiensis, also called “hobbits.”
These small humans lived more than 50,000 years ago!

Next, Spiderweb Rice Fields. The Manggarai people have used this special lingko system for centuries.
Land is divided in a spiderweb pattern, symbolizing fairness and unity.

Last destination, we stop at a local school.
Here, you can meet the children, experience the daily life of today’s new Flores generation.
For local students, interacting with foreign visitors is a rare opportunity.
Bajo Buddy try to visits different schools on each trip, allowing more students to participate.

Dive into Flores’ diverse cultural traditions.
Start with Bena – the most well-preserved megalithic village.
You’ll see traditional thatched-roof houses adorned with symbolic carvings and sacred objects.
Women weave textiles on the porch.

Then, visit Guru Sina Village, where the villagers preserve their cultural heritage through their craftsmanship.
Each carving tells a story of ancestry, mythology, or nature.

For the last stop, head to Mau Sui Savana – home to wild horses and water buffalo.
Here, we’ll spot these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

Let’s start today with a magical sunrise!
Kelimutu is a one-of-a-kind volcano with three crater lakes that change colors unpredictably.
Local legends say that the Kelimutu crater lakes are the resting place of souls.

Then visit the famous Blue Stone Beach, where the shore is covered with smooth, colorful pebbles.
Enjoy fresh seafood & ocean view.

In the late afternoon, we hike up to Wolobobo for a panoramic sunset.
End the day by soaking in the peaceful vibe.

Enjoy Flores coffee @ Detusoko Village

Stop at Detusoko Village and visit Bajo Buddy’s family, where we’ll enjoy Flores coffee and experience Flores-style hospitality.
Get a glimpse into the daily lives of the locals. We will spend the night in Moni, near Kelimutu.
